Mini-Maidens of Might: A StrongKids Contest

Mini-Maidens of Might, the first ever all-girls’ edition of StrongKids, will be Sunday, March 22 at 1pm… the day right after the epic all-female event, Maidens of Might!!! Not only that, but we will have a VERY special guest… 2019 Strongest Woman in the World, Jessica Fithen!
Parents – bring your daughters to a fun, wholesome event where they can truly see how strong a girl can be! StrongGirls will compete in 4 amazing events, all inspired by real strongwoman events, where they can not only build confidence and inspire others with how strong they really are, but do it all to the cheers of their families, other kids, and a supporting and volunteer cast of VERY strong women!
***This event has been postponed indefinitely due to the state of the nation in the wake of the COVID-19 outbreak. We will provide details on a new date in the future!!!***
Bring the girls for a great time competing, showing and testing their true strength… and since it’s all about being a Mini-Maiden of Might, they’re more than welcome to wear any outfit they like!! Girls being strong, being active, and most importantly- having a great time. Viking and StrongMaiden-themed awards 1st through 3rd, as well as contest t-shirts for everyone who signs up at least a week before the competition!
We will order several extra shirts for kids who sign up all the way to the contest date, but in order to help us get a more accurate order count please sign up in advance!
Age groups are as follows… 2-3, 4-5 years, 6-7 years, 8-9 years, 10-11 years, 12-13 years. Events and challenges will be increasingly scaled to make them truly age appropriate for the StrongKids!!!
We will be competing in 4 kid-friendly strongman events!
Medicine Ball Load Medley! Lighter Med balls start with higher boxes, and they go down as the weights go up! By the way, our medicine balls go from 4 pounds… to 100 ?
Farmer’s Carry for Max Distance! Most MiniMaidens will be using classic farmers’ handles for the event, which will be 30 feet and back around tires as many times as possible in the allotted time; drops will be allowed!
Harness Sled Pull to Sled Push! Attached to sleds or VIKING SHIPS, Mini Maidens will first drag the sled forward with a harness run, then slip off the harness quickly and push a different sled back to the starting line!
Tire Flip and Overhead Medley! Imagine a weight to press overhead at one start line… then a tire you need to flip a few times just to get to lift ANOTHER weight overhead… AGAIN AND AGAIN until time runs out! THAT is the Mini Maidens of Might way!!

Entry fee: $32 Early bird pricing (effective through Saturday, February 29), then registration fee will change to $37! There will be a late fee price of $42 for entries after Sunday, March 15th!
Mini-Maidens will be at Viking Performance Training, 141 Greenbag Rd., Morgantown WV.

In consideration of your acceptance of this entry, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, and my assignees, waive, and release all rights and damages I may have against Jerry Handley, Micki Pauley, Micki Lifestyle LLC, The City of Morgantown, Viking Performance Training LLC, StrongKids, Carol Atkins, Commercial Land Development, and all sponsors of the event, their representatives and assigns, for any and all injuries incurred by me in conjunction with this competition and in traveling to and from the event. And in further consideration of permission being granted to me to participate in the Strong Kids Competition. I hereby grant Viking Performance Training and Micki Lifestyle and/or any other approved video or entertainment organization and all of their agents, successors, licensees, and assigns, the right to photograph or otherwise reproduce (whether by film, tape, still photography or otherwise) my voice, appearance, and name, and to exhibit, distribute, transmit, and/or otherwise exploit any and all media, including without limitation, by means of still photography, motion pictures, radio, television, television motion pictures, video, printing or any other medium now known or hereafter devised, including with respect also to any merchandising, advertising, and/or publicity, and the right to use my name and information about me in any connection with any of the foregoing. The rights granted by me hereunder are granted for the entire universe and shall endure in perpetuity and no further compensation shall be payable to me at anytime in connection therewith. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to obligate Viking Performance Training, Micki Lifestyle, and/or any other approved video or entertainment organization, to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice, appearance or name, or to make use of any rights granted herein. I also understand that the aforementioned rights may be reassigned at any time without further consent.
