A StrongKids Halloween 2

The SPOOKtacularly popular StrongKids Halloween returns Sunday, October 29th!! The competition will be held from 2-4:30pm.
Bring the kids for a great time competing showing and testing their true strength… and since it’s Halloween, in costume! Kids being strong, being active, and most importantly- having a great time. Viking and Halloween-themed trophies and medals for 1st through 3rd, as well as traditional and healthier Halloween treats and contest shirts for everyone who signs up at least a week before the competition!
- We will order several extra shirts for kids who sign up all the way to the contest date, but in order to help us get a more accurate order count please sign up in advance!
Due to the success of the previous shows and by popular request, we are introducing new age divisions!! Age groups are as follows… 4-5 years 6-7 years 8-9 years 10-11 years 12-13 years.
We will be competing in 4 kid-friendly strongman events, with a bit of a Halloween flair!
The Ghoulishly Dastardly Events ARE…
- Standing Arm Over Arm Pull! What will these kids be pulling… a weighted sled? A 4-wheeler?! THE VPT VIKING SHIP?!? Time will tell…
- Carry Medley! An assortment of heavier and heavier items will start on a line, with the kids given the task of moving each of them to a mat 30 feet away for the fastest time. What will they be carrying? Glad you asked! Medicine balls, kettlebells, sandbags, farmer’s handles, kegs… if VPT has it, there’s a chance the kids will be carrying it! Even if we DON’T have it… we may go look for it just so the kids can carry it!!
- Overhead Press for Reps! Maximum reps from the floor to overhead in a predetermined time limit. The strongest AND fastest AND most endurance wins! Possible items- medicine balls, kettlebells, kegs, barbells, natural rocks… or more!
- Lever Deadlift for Reps! The lever deadlift will give these Strong Kids their first taste of the classic CAR DEADLIFT! Younger kids will have some pretty cool, awesome objects on their lever… but what about the older Strong Kids?… Could it be… could it… THE VPT VIKING SHIP!!!
Entry fee: $27 Early bird pricing (effective through Monday, October 9), then the normal registration fee of $37!

In consideration of your acceptance of this entry, I hereby, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators, and my assignees, waive, and release all rights and damages I may have against Jerry Handley, Micki Pauley, Micki Lifestyle LLC, The City of Morgantown, Viking Performance Training LLC, Carol Atkins, Commercial Land Development, and all sponsors of the event, their representatives and assigns, for any and all injuries incurred by me in conjunction with this competition and in traveling to and from the event. And in further consideration of permission being granted to me to participate in the Strong Kids Competition. I hereby grant Viking Performance Training and Micki Lifestyle and/or any other approved video or entertainment organization and all of their agents, successors, licensees, and assigns, the right to photograph or otherwise reproduce (whether by film, tape, still photography or otherwise) my voice, appearance, and name, and to exhibit, distribute, transmit, and/or otherwise exploit any and all media, including without limitation, by means of still photography, motion pictures, radio, television, television motion pictures, video, printing or any other medium now known or hereafter devised, including with respect also to any merchandising, advertising, and/or publicity, and the right to use my name and information about me in any connection with any of the foregoing. The rights granted by me hereunder are granted for the entire universe and shall endure in perpetuity and no further compensation shall be payable to me at anytime in connection therewith. Nothing contained herein shall be deemed to obligate Viking Performance Training, Micki Lifestyle, and/or any other approved video or entertainment organization, to photograph or otherwise reproduce my voice, appearance or name, or to make use of any rights granted herein. I also understand that the aforementioned rights may be reassigned at any time without further consent. I understand that Viking Performance Training, Micki Lifestyle, and/or any other approved video or entertainment organization are videotaping and photographing the Event in express reliance upon foregoing, and I represent and agree that I am free to grant the rights granted to Viking Performance Training LLC, Micki Lifestyle LLC, and/or any other approved video or entertainment organization hereunder.
